Rookie with a searer

Began using it, and a first for me. Seared in the juices of a boneless ribeye on a double flip, set it aside on one of your baffled controlled burners on a slow heat and received the pleasure of a perfect rare/med rare piece of meat. Love that searer.

Simple tool - great results

Grab a 2" steak, look up the reverse sear method, and enjoy something as good as you can get in a steakhouse. Easy to achieve the Maillard Reaction with this burner. Quick to swap out and doesn't need cleaning if kept red hot during use. So far happy with the product and there's not much I can break on it so should be for a long time.

Great Product, a little fragile

The ceramic came with a crack (but still usable) and the added tube was a bit bent out of shape. I was bale to bend the extender tube using some pliers so that it was round again to fit over searing burner. After those two hiccups the searer works great. It gets super hot and does the job!

I can cook a 1" steak in 6 mins WOW! I love it. The only con is that it doesn't do so good at lighting with the electric ignition. I have to manually use an elongated lighter.

Infrared burner flange too short to reach has feed with secu

The infra red burner sent to me didn't fit my 5 burner Blaze and I was not able to use it. The flange is too short. I called customer support to get it swapped out but the person I spoke with assured me I had the right infrared burner. She is wrong - the flange is too short to reach the gas feed which makes trying to turn on that burner a disaster waiting to happen

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
