Real Fyre artisans work from actual wood samples to carefully recreate the intricate bark detail and natural coloration of deeply charred wood. Gas fireplace logs are convenient and easy to use for most gas fireplaces. The beautiful display and flame presentation of this Real Fyre Charred Wood gas log set is ideal for creating those magic moments and memories. This Peterson Real Fyre gas log set includes: Ceramic Refractory Vented Gas Logs, ANSI Certified Vented Burner with Pre-Assembled Valve and Regulator, Piezo Ignitor, Custom Grate, Connector Kit, Glowing Embers, Sand, Burner Clips, and Damper Clamp. The Peterson ANSI Certified G46 burner has a T-shaped burner pipe with a large burner pipe in the center of the burner pan and a smaller pipe that runs thru the ember bed allowing the flames to not only dance thru the center of your log set, but thru the center of the ember bed giving a more realistic flame pattern and a patented system that features a hidden factory installed control valve, and piezo ignition at the rear of the burner. It has a BTU output of 65,000 BTUs. This set features an electronic on/off non-standing pilot control valve that is operated by a switch or the included remote. The ANSI Certified G46 Burner is available with all Peterson valve controls with or without remote controls and in multiple size sets.Warranty

SPK-26 controls are covered by a three (3) year all parts warranty. 45 Day No Hassle Returns
We want you to love what you buy! But if you don’t, we offer a simple “No Hassle Returns” policy. We allow you to return all new, unused, unassembled, and resalable items in their original packaging within 45 days of delivery for a refund (minus the original and return shipping costs incurred by GasLogGuys.com). Naturally, if your return is because of our error, you are not responsible for any shipping costs.
- If your return request is due to product defect or damage, we will first work with you to get the product repaired. If repair is not possible, then we’ll work with you to get it replaced.
- If your return will be coming back via freight truck, we will require you to provide us a photo before your return will be authorized. This can be as simple as a cell phone pic! We just need a “before” picture in case there is any damage to the item on its way back to us.
- To expedite the returns process, before shipping the item(s) back, make sure they are clean, the packaging is sufficient to prevent damage, and (if necessary) you note all defects along with the photos taken.

- The item has been assembled in a way that would impede proper packaging for return shipping.
In exchange situations, there are TWO options:
- If you need the product right away, you can purchase a replacement on a new order to get it shipped out as soon as possible. Then return the original item and we’ll refund you for the original once we’ve received it back to our warehouse in “Like New” condition.
- If you can wait a little longer, return the original item and once we’ve received it back to our warehouse in “Like New” condition, we’ll refund you for that purchase, then have you purchase the replacement on a new order and we’ll ship the replacement as soon as possible.
Custom made-to-order/special order items are made to your specifications. Due to the custom nature of made-to-order/special order items, all sales are final. Made-to-order/special order items defective due to manufacturing will be repaired/replaced as long as the claim is made within the warranty period offered by the manufacturer. Custom pieces damaged in shipping will still follow all steps for a freight claim as previously listed here. All Custom pieces will be repaired or replaced with an item of the same nature as previously ordered. You will not be allowed to order an item that differs from the damaged or defective item.

Awesome Logs
After 10 years of burning wood we decided to change to gas logs to eliminate the smokey smell and the mess from burning wood and are very pleased that we made this change. The logs look real and it is nice that when you go to bed or leave the house all you have to do is turn it off instead of waiting for the fire to die down. These logs and the fire look 99.9% like the real thing!

A REALISTIC EFFECT
The "burnt through" log design makes the fire look very much like the natural wood fires I used to have - without the fuss! I added "Bright Embers" within and just below the burnt through gap and this really enhanced the realism. The logs have acquired a fair amount of soot rather quickly and this detracts from the "natural" appearance. The instructions suggest this can be removed but I've been too lazy to attempt it - hope it works when I try!

Peterson Real Fyre is Phenomenal
We replaced a lesser log set with Peterson Real Fyre. Peterson looks like real wood burning and gives off way more heat than our old log set, which feels great. Peterson quality is phenomenal. Assembly was very easy. Instructions were very good. We couldn't be happier.

Flame On
I have a small apartment in the city and needed a vented gas log set for my fireplace. There are a lot of restrictions in San Francisco for fireplaces and this set was the only one that work for me. I got it in, and it looks great. I've never owned a gas log set before, mostly burned wood as a kid but this set looks great. I went with the charred look for realism and I'm not disappointed. It took a little bit to figure out to how to put everything together (I'm a city boy what can I say!) but I called the gaslogguys up and they hooked it up with some helpful instruction. Two Thumbs up for the customer service and the log set.

Toasty!
My wife and I were shopping locally for a log set and we were amazed at the expense of the log sets and the cost to set them up. We looked on line and found this log set. We saved over $100 and the "how to install" video allowed me to hook up the gas and install the log set in just a matter of minutes. It couldn't have been easier. I would recommend this to anyone.

Beautiful log set!
I used to sell/deliver Peterson logs when I was in college and always knew that I would get a set of my own some day. We checked around and Peterson is still the best in looks, durability, and they have the best warranty in the business. It's easy to see why the Charred Oak set is such a top-seller. It's a very realistic and attractive set that fills a fireplace nicely, and it is one of the lower-priced options in the Charred series. We really enjoy our log set, just in time to sit in front of the fire for Christmas. One note: make sure that you have a good pressurized gas supply to the fireplace. Our set has a bit of a low flame (about half of what I've seen burning at a local fireside shop), and we have yet to get a technician in to help out, but even then, it's a pretty fire.
